Remember to indulge your sensual side when you go outside today. Sometimes you get so busy you forget to taste, touch and feel.


How busy are you?

Are you too busy to take in the world around you? For example: you go out for a walk. Which is great. But as you head out the door, you plug in those earphones, and miss out on so much of the sights and sounds around you. Or you spend the whole day inside in front of the screeen.

You are sensual.

How can you feel anything if you leave your senses behind? It has only been in the last twenty years or so that we have become so utterly detached from the real world and have entered the world of virtual reality. The results of this transition have not been altogether bad, but they certainly have removed us from much of what we used to feel.

Reclaim your feelings.

Your ability to feel is connected with your senses. So there is value not only in engaging more with taste, touch and smell for their own sake. There is also value in reclaiming your sensual side because your senses are connected to feelings like happy and sad. For example: have you ever had a piece of pie that reminded you of the happiness of childhood? That’s your sensual side at work.
