Take out the trash
What’s on your short list of mental trash right now? And don’t say, “I don’t know.” Take out a sheet of paper and write, “What’s bugging me?” Answer that question, and you will be on your way to taking out the mental trash.

You can push the pause button whenever you want — you just don’t know it. Perhaps you think that if you don’t show up to every commitment you’ve made, the world will fall apart. It won’t.
Get a healthier view of your importance. You’re actually not as indispensible as you think you are.
Maybe (subconsciously) you’re afraid that if you don’t show up, you might find out how unessential you really are.
